I have spent a lot time thinking and praying about my future. I want to thank my loved ones for unwavering support during this process.

My goals have always been about leaving an enduring legacy at the winningest program in the history of college football.

Motivated by my profound love for Michigan and commitment to my education, I have decided to return for another season. It is an honor to be a student-athlete at the University of Michigan!

I look forward to continuing my work in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. I am grateful for my Michigan teammates and coaches. Go Blue.

Corum had a career season up until his injury and was one of the top running backs in the nation. He finished with 1,463 yards rushing, 18 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. He was an unanimous First-Team All-American, the Chicago Tribune Silver Football winner, and the Big Ten Running Back of the Year.

For Schoonmaker, he wrote to his family saying thanks for endless prayers, love and support; to Coach Harbaugh for believing in him; to his tight end coaches for giving blood, sweat, and tears teaching him the game. He ends with this:

To my teammates, I love you boys! You are all my brothers, and there is no better group of men I would’ve rather strapped on the helmet with. We have created a standard, and I challenge you all to continue to bring that standard out of each other.

It is with great honor and privilege that I am officially entering the 2023 NFL Draft. SCHOOOON OUT!!!

Schoonmaker was a two-time All-Big Ten selection as a third team and honorable mention selection. He was a four-year letterman playing in 44 games with 20 starts finishing with 637 yards on 54 catches and seven touchdowns.

Michigan has won back-to-back Big Ten championships and played in two straight College Playoffs.
