WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – The White House is giving federal agencies 30 days to wipe TikTok off all government devices.

The Chinese-owned social media app has come under increased scrutiny over security concerns.

Congress and more than half of U.S. states have banned TikTok from government-issued mobile devices.

House Republicans are expected to move forward Tuesday with a bill that would give Biden the power to ban TikTok nationwide.

In Michigan, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is still using TikTok. She’s said it one of the ways she can communicate with residents.
