MUSKEGON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A new site of PFAS pollution is being confirmed in a new report.
In the report released Monday, Michigan’s PFAS Action Response Team confirmed elevated levels of the chemicals at a former pesticide manufacturing site just outside of Muskegon.

Cytiva is the current owner of the property and the elevated levels were detected by their environmental testing before buying the property.
Samples from 18 groundwater wells indicated three tested above state levels for PFAS and state officials are still working to determine if any residential wells should be tested.
