WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – According to U.S. Pentagon officials, a U.S. fighter jet shot down an “unidentified object” over Lake Huron on Sunday on orders from President Joe Biden. Officials said the object had hovered over the Upper Peninsula.

A Minnesota National Guard fighter unit shot down the object on Sunday.

It marked the fourth such downing in eight days. In late January, a spy balloon from China emerged over U.S. airspace that was eventually shot down over South Carolina after it made its way across the entire U.S.

In addition, fighter jets shot down objects over Canada and Alaska last week.

Pentagon officials drew a strong distinction between the Chinese balloon and the three  most recently shot down.

Many politicians across both sides of the aisle are demanding answers.
