PONTIAC, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A judge has ordered a former cleaning service worker at the General Motors Assembly plant just outside of Pontiac to life in prison.

Astrit Bushi was found guilty of killing a fellow employee in an attack at the plant in August 2022.

Investigators say Bushi killed 49-year-old Gregory Robertson of Pontiac. Deputies tried to revive Robertson when they arrived but he died at the scene.

Bushi was found guilty of first-degree murder on March 1st and sentenced on Thursday. Police believe the two were arguing before Robertson was killed.
