LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Roadside parks operated by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will reopen for the year on April 28th.

MDOT maintains 85 of roadside parks statewide.

However, officials are cautioning to not expect drinking water to be available at all parks until some point in May after annual testing and treatment of park water systems has been completed.
