LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – An armored truck crashed near Lansing after the driver failed to stop in time for a traffic backup, spilling money into a roadside ditch.

Michigan State Police (MSP) say the Loomis armored courier clipped another vehicle and overturned after the driver lost control. The crash occurred near eastbound I-96 and Waverly Road in Windsor Township.

The occupants of the truck sustained minor injuries. No injuries were reported for other drivers.
