KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is hiring. The department will launch a two-week recruiting drive in August, aimed at hiring and training a raft of new public safety officers.

The police academy is open to adults of all ages, and many will be sponsored by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety even before they begin training. More information about the recruiting drive is available online at kalamazoopublicsafety.org.

In February the department announced they are offering a $15,000 bonus for police who transfer into the department who have experience.
