CHARLOTTE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Eaton County residents who own a Hyundai or Kia can receive a free steering wheel lock from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.
The move comes after a rise in thefts among Kias and Hyundais.

Eaton County residents must bring proof of residence and ownership. Residents can visit the records office at 1025 Independence Blvd in Charlotte or the administration office at 7710 W. Saginaw Highway for the free locks.
