HILLSDALE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The results are in, and Michigan’s own Hillsdale College is ranked #39 in the country among National Liberal Arts Colleges according to U.S. News.
“Our faculty is always looking for new ways to enhance students’ classical liberal arts experience,” said Christopher VanOrman, Hillsdale College Provost, in a press release. “It’s a great joy for our hard work at Hillsdale to be recognized on the national level once again.”

Nearly 1500 colleges were evaluated for this year’s rankings, with 211 considered liberal arts colleges, according to U.S. News. Among the most heavily weighted ranking factors were graduation rates, peer assessment, graduation rate performance, and financial resources per student.
Hillsdale College’s acceptance rate is currently 21%. Top majors include economics, history, English, and political science.
