“Set the Expectation” describes itself as “Dedicated to ending sexual and interpersonal violence through prevention work with men, advocacy, and engagement with agencies serving survivors.” Brenda Tracy, the founder, filed a Title IX complaint against Mel Tucker after she said their partnership to change the culture at MSU following the Larry Nasser case took a turn in April 2022. She filed the report in December 2022 and MSU started its investigation. A report released on July 25 recommended an October 5 hearing for Tucker.
On Sunday, MSU held a press conference and announced that Tucker would be suspended without pay pending the ongoing investigation and hearing.
