LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A judge denied the request to drop charges against two of the 16 people Attorney General Dana Nessel has accused of participating in a fake elector scheme following the 2020 presidential election.
Clifford Frost and Mary-Ann Henry are accused of signing documents that claimed they were official electors for Michigan, and Donald Trump won the election.

Henry’s team motioned to have the charges against her dropped, saying Attorney General Dana Nessel’s comment calling the electors “brainwashed” falls under prosecutorial misconduct.
Henry’s preliminary examination is set for Oct. 12. Frost will return to court in January.
