GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – After a grueling 24-hour search for a special needs toddler in Clinton County, police said they found the body of Germain Jones in the Looking Glass River around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities said the child was found in a part of the river near where the boy was seen by a neighbor Monday, authorities say.

The search for the missing boy hit close to home for many, as 500 people showed up to assist law enforcement in the search for the boy. Law enforcement agencies statewide partnered together, with officials leading the search from helicopters, horseback, and dive teams.
Foul play is not suspected, but the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.
