Michigan State University Police say they are hoping to avoid incidents like those of the past few years. There’s often bad blood between the two teams and fan bases, maybe more so after last year’s tunnel brawl between MSU and Michigan players after the Spartans loss in Ann Arbor.

Local authorities say the goal is safety for everyone including players, coaches, and fans. Kickoff is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
