GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The termination hearing for Ottawa County’s Health Officer set for Monday has been pushed back one week.

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners previously scheduled Adeline Hambley’s termination for October 30, but Chairman Joe Moss cited a scheduling conflict.

The new date is Monday, November 6 at 9 a.m.

Ottawa County’s health officer and the Board of Commissioners have been at odds since January over the budgeting process. Some members of the Board want the county to return to pre-COVID funding levels. A handful of people have been laid off this month as COVID-19 grant funds dissipated.
