With the increasing cost of living, families are encountering additional challenges this year. Major Toni Dorrell, the General Secretary and Commander of the Salvation Army, emphasizes the importance of coming together to offer assistance to our neighbors. A new feature for this year’s campaign is the inclusion of the tiptap app, providing an easier way to donate. Through mobile phones, smartwatches, or contactless-enabled credit cards, donors can contribute set amounts of $5, $10, or $20.

The bell-ringing season for the charity runs from Nov. 10 to Christmas Eve, excluding Thanksgiving and Sundays.
