LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Roughly 37% of adults in the United States are eating fast-food on any given day for various reasons whether it’s because it’s cheap, quick, or people are too tired to cook or do dishes. Some even buy it because it tastes good.

According to CashNetUSA, in Michigan, the fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A is the top rated place to pick up a quick meal which means that Michiganders are definitely on the path to “eat mor chikin” as the chain’s advertising cows request of them at one of the 28 Chick-fil-A restaurants in Michigan.

The chicken franchise is also the top-rated fast-food chain in most states (34) and in big cities (27 out of 50). Their Chick-Fil-A sauce is even popular enough that they sell it in bottles in retail stores.

But chicken isn’t the only thing that Michiganders are grabbing on the way home from work or during their lunch breaks. In Michigan, hungry folks are also picking up meals at the top rated burger chain, Five Guys. Also coming out on top in the state are Krispy Kreme (doughnuts), Moe’s Southwest Grill (Mexican) and Papa Murphy’s (pizza).

At the bottom of the list in Michigan is Wing-Stop, an international chain of restaurants primarily selling chicken wings. Also included at the bottom is McDonald’s (burgers), Tim Hortons (doughnuts), Chipotle Mexican Grill (Mexican) and Domino’s (pizza).

Overall in the entire country, Papa John’s ended up being the lowest-rated chain in 16 states, more than any other chain. On a state-by-state basis, Five Guys is America’s favorite burger joint and McDonald’s and Burger King are tied for worst.
