LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police are working on their goal to have 30% of troopers be female by 2030.
Sergeant Kelsey Case has been with MSP for eleven years, and says she is among just ten-percent of sworn officers in MSP who are female. She and MSP Lieutenant Michelle Robinson both want more women to consider joining the force. Robinson says sexual assault victims are often more open to speaking if a female officer responds to a scene.
