LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer has called for a special election to fill two vacant seats in the Michigan House of Representatives.
Former State Representatives Lori Stone and Kevin Coleman were elected as mayors for Warren and Westland, respectively earlier this month and will vacate their seats in the Michigan House.

The special primary election will be held on January 30, 2024; the general election will be held on April 16, 2024.
