IRON RIVER, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – If the early snow in parts of Michigan has you excited for the new ski season, grab your gear and head to the Upper Peninsula.

Ski Brule in Iron River has set an opening date for Friday, November 10th.

With multiple inches of real snow along with temperatures in the forecast to sustain it, workers at the resort have started making their own snow as well.

According to Ski Brule’s website, lift passes will be free for opening day.
