LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – In a now deleted social media post, Michigan Democrat staffer Samantha Skorka posed in front of a Satanic display on the capitol lawn and claimed the “sexy satanic baphomet goat altar at OUR Michigan Capitol.”

Skorka deleted the post on Wednesday night. Her bio states she works as a media specialist for the Michigan House Democrats.
On Thursday morning, she posted “Well clearly you can’t make a joke on the internet anymore.”
Michigan News Source contacted Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and House Speaker Joe Tate regarding their takes on the post and whether there would be professional repercussions. Neither responded by press time.
Earlier this week, a new “Yule Goat” display went up on the Michigan Capitol lawn. It bears a medallion from the Satanic Temple of West Michigan.
