LAPEER, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Officials said the Oxford High School shooter, who received a life sentence without the possibility of parole last week, say he is being held at the Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer.
The Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) said since 17-year-old Ethan Crumbley is a minor, he will remain at the Thumb Correctional Facility until he turns 18. He will then be moved to a permanent facility.

Crumbley is in the middle of a several-day intake process. He has a cell to himself because the facility only has seven other juveniles in custody. The facility can hold about 80 juveniles. He will not have internet access, but can buy a television if he finds the funds.
