DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – For the first time in the Super Bowl era, the Detroit Lions have won two playoff  games in the same season after a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday 31-23.

An interception by Derrick Barnes with 1:30 left to play sealed the victory for the Lions.

The Lions took down the Buccaneers on their home turf. They now prep for a playoff game next Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. It marks Lions’ first time on the road during the playoffs.

The winner of that game heads to the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11.
