WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-Michigan) spoke on MSNBC on Wednesday about the importance of keeping Democrats in their current seats or flipping them from Republican control.

He said Florida and Texas are in play.

Senator Peters represents Michigan along with Democratic colleague U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow. She will retire at the end of her term this year. Michigan Democrats are hoping to keep the seat blue while Republicans are hoping to turn it red.
