GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – An anonymous tip service for students in West Michigan is getting an upgrade.

Silent Observer is replacing its Fast 50 program with the Speak Up Cash Out program.

Silent Observer’s Executive Director says they needed to upgrade the service so students can receive a higher pay amount while reporting crimes that pose a threat to their community or well-being. Rewards for credible tips range from $100 to $1,000.
