EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State University hockey, which already won its first Big 10 regular season title, will once again meet up with their arch-nemesis to battle for the Big 10 playoff title.

At home, #1-seeded Spartans advanced to the title game with a 2-1 win Saturday night over #7 Ohio State.

In the later game #4-seeded Michigan Wolverines pulled off the upset against #3 Golden Gophers in Minnesota, 2-1.

The Spartans and Wolverines will face off for the Big Ten Tournament title on Saturday at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing. MSU has beaten Michigan in three out of the last four matchups.

Tickets for the title game are going upwards of $500.
