GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Grand Rapids Catholic Central’s Durral Brooks has been named Michigan’s Mr. Basketball for 2024.

The senior is averaging 26.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.

Brooks will play at the University of Michigan when he starts college and is the first West Michigan player to win Mr. Basketball since Isaiah Livers of Kalamazoo Central High School in 2017. Livers now plays for the Washington Wizards in the NBA.
