DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Ford Motor Company is dropping the hybrid Ford Explorer midsize SUV and the Lincoln hybrid Aviator SUV.
Both vehicles are built in Chicago and the automaker is shifting focus to smaller SUVs and pickup trucks.

The hybrid Explorer will continue to be made for police, but neither vehicle was popular otherwise.
