LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says a jury in Kent County convicted a Sterling Heights man of unauthorized practice of a health profession.
Fifty-four-year-old Husam Abed treated patients in Grand Rapids after his medical license had been suspended in May 2022.

Abed will be sentenced in late May. He was found guilty of six felony charges, and the charge can carry up to four years in prison.
