DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Stellantis announced an investment in a French company that will help create driver assistance systems.

SteerLight makes microchips with LIDAR that can detect the environment around a vehicle in three dimensions.

Officials with SteerLight say with this investment from Stellantis they can accelerate the adoption of autonomous vehicles.
