GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The U.S. Coast Guard says Master Chief Petty Officer Marc Moore has been relieved of his duties at the Grand Haven station, effective immediately.

He has been replaced by Chief Petty Officer Justin Abold until a permanent replacement is found.

Moore was relieved “due to a loss of confidence in his judgment and ability to fulfill his assigned duties.” He had been in charge of Station Grand Haven since June 2021.
