Detroit (Michigan News Source) – Detroit officials say the city is getting a travel surge this week with the NFL Draft set for Thursday through Sunday. Visit Detroit’s Chris Moyer says there are people coming here from all 50 states for the draft. SFX Downtown hotels have wait lists and Airbnb officials say searches for places to stay are up by 450%.

Visitors are likely to spend hundreds of millions of dollars during the event. Those attending the NFL Draft activities in Detroit can find a guideline for events around the city through a smartphone app.

Real estate company Bedrock has produced an interactive field guide that features 120 locations in the city. The site is called “DeckedOutDetroit.com” and gives users the chance to see places to eat, drink, shop, and park.

The NFL Draft kicks off Thursday continues through Saturday the 28th.
