DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Just one-year on the big stage for Jack Gohlke has led to six NIL deals after the NCAA Tournament. Gohlke took Oakland by storm this year with his three-point shooting in his one-year of eligibility left as a graduate student transferring from NCAA Division II Hillsdale College. His name became nationally known in the first round of the NCAA Tournament when he torched Kentucky tying second for an NCAA Tournament record of three-pointers made in a game hitting 10 three-pointers.

After his performance vs. Kentucky, Gohlke’s social media blew up and offers started to come in for NIL deals. Almost three-weeks after his last game, he has inked six NIL deals. Oakland head coach Greg Kampe says, “The legend of Jack Gohlke is going to go on, and Oakland is going to be associated with that.”

His most recent NIL deal came with an AI-powered data company The Formula Bot. The big joke after the game coming from the Kentucky players were that they would be in the NBA and Gohlke would be selling insurance. Gohlke had the last laugh, though, knocking them out of the tournament. Other deals he has signed on with for NIL have been Buffalo Wild Wings, OOFOS, the NIL Store, Intuit TurboTax, and Barstool Sports.

Gohlke scored 32 points vs. Kentucky to send the storied program home in the first round. In just one season at Oakland, he made 137 three-pointers and 141 shots overall as all but four shots made were from beyond the arc. He was named the Horizon League Sixth Man of the Year and made the All-Tournament team.
