DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Oxford High School shooter has been moved to a new facility, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC).

Ethan Crumbley was 15 when he killed four classmates and injured seven others in November 2021. Now he is 18 and no longer eligible to be housed in a unit for juveniles at the Thumb Correctional Facility. He is serving a life sentence.

His parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, were both found guilty by juries in separate trials on four counts of involuntary manslaughter. They are serving 10-15 years in prison for their negligence in the shooting. Prosecutors said they ignored their son’s cries for mental health help and bought their son the gun used in the shooting.
