Detroit opens up at Comerica Park on Friday at 1:10 p.m. vs. Oakland. Tarik Skubal will be the starting pitcher after his opening day win over the Chicago White Sox with six strikeouts and not giving up any runs.
Carson Kelly leads the team with five RBI in four games played as Riley Green has two home runs. Gio Urshela has six hits in three games played hitting .462.
Friday afternoon marks a three-game series with Oakland with a game on Saturday at 1:10 p.m. and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. Detroit will be giving out Tigers’ Hockey Jerseys on Saturday and Sunday is Chevy Kids Day.
