DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – EcoG, an international technology company and EV charging developer, is opening its U.S. headquarters in Detroit.
EVs have been a pet project of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and the new headquarters is getting a boost from a $1.5 million Business Development Program performance-based grant.

So-called environmentally friendly endeavors and EVs have been a growing focus of the Whitmer administration. Earlier this month, Attorney General Dana Nessel announced she intends to sue the oil and gas industry over its role in climate change.
