SHELBY TWP., Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A man accused of illegally entering the country after being deported previously has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting his minor daughter in Shelby Township.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office said 32-year-old Joel Quintana-Dominguez faces three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. These felony charges each carry a life sentence. He pleaded not guilty.

A judge set Quintana-Dominguez’s bond at $500,000. A preliminary examination is set for Aug. 8.
