ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Oakland County authorities say an Afghan refugee is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a caseworker who helps refugees.
Deputies in Oakland County said a male caseworker called 911 and said he had been stabbed multiple times in Orion Township. Authorities said they arrested the suspect after fleeing in a car.

The caseworker has undergone surgery for the “serious” stab wounds, according to officials. It is unclear what led up to the stabbing.
