TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City is seeing record numbers of travelers causing overflow in their parking system, and CEO Kevin Klein said it is a great problem to solve.

The airport has 1,300 parking spaces; last Friday, the airport reported 1,500 vehicles on the campus.

The overflow procedure, which is typically saved for March, is now in place. The airport plans to have even more
overflow parking when the official spring break season arrives.
