LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Tudor Dixon posted on social media that she was considering running for governor of Michigan or taking a run at the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Gary Peters, a Democrat. Peters has announced his retirement.

“Both races present unique opportunities and different ways to benefit Michigan,” Dixon posted on X on March 18.

Dixon unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2022. Incumbent Gretchen Whitmer beat Dixon in the 2022 election for governor. Whitmer had 54.47% of the ballots cast to Dixon’s 43.94%, a 469,870-vote difference.
