DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Malik Taylor, a Flint native and former football star at Ferris State, is coming home to play for the Detroit Lions. The 2014 Montrose High School graduate had 121 receptions and 2,091 yards at Ferris State.
He has played for Green Bay, the New York Jets, and Tampa Bay for the past four seasons and didn’t appear in any games last year. He was placed on injured reserve last August with an undisclosed issue by the Jets. In 2020, he caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown as a Packer.

Taylor was undrafted in 2019 and signed with Tampa Bay but was cut by the end of preseason. Green Bay picked him up for the 2020 season.
