KENTWOOD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Mother’s Day is this weekend, and a west Michigan community is continuing the tradition of honoring a very special mom and her babies.
In a Facebook post, the Kentwood Police Department said its Justice Center courtyard has been the home of choice for mother ducks to raise their ducklings for the past three years.

On Tuesday, officers provided an escort for this year’s mom and her ducklings from the Justice Center to the great outdoors.
Momma duck and her little ones are adjusting nicely to their new digs.
