ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Charles Woodson’s Michigan bloodlines have now extended to his son, Charles Woodson, Jr. On Wednesday, Michigan extended an offer to Woodson, Jr., to play for the Wolverines. The class of 2027 product is a three-star safety out of Lake Nona High School in Orlando, Fla.
Woodson, Jr., posted on X saying, “Blessed to receive an offer from Michigan!!!” in the early evening Wednesday. He already has nine NCAA Division I offers from programs Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Florida State, Syracuse, Iowa State, Kentucky, Delaware, and Sacramento State. Texas A&M (May 6), Kentucky (May 10), Iowa State (May 12), and FSU (May 31) all offered in May.

The 5’11”, 155-pound defensive back is the no. 35 safety in the 2027 class and no. 363 overall prospect, according to 247Sports. This past season, Woodson, Jr., had 53 tackles, one interception, and two pass breakups.
He is the son of 1997 Heisman Trophy Winner Charles Woodson, who was one of the best players to ever play for the Wolverines. Guiding Michigan to the 1997 National Championship, he is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and was the fourth pick in the 1998 NFL Draft.
