GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – One Michigan church congregation received an answered prayer.

The First United Methodist Church, founded in 1835 more than a decade before Grand Rapids became a city, will undergo much-needed upgrades. A $4.8 million project will fix up the entire property and give parishioners a glimpse of the church building as it sat decades ago.
