TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The bond amount set by a judge for a man accused of stabbing 11 people at the Traverse City Walmart over the weekend has sparked controversy.

That’s why Grand Traverse County Prosecuting Attorney Noelle Moeggenberg filed a motion to have 42-year-old Bradford Gille’s bond increased with additional protections or revoked entirely.

The prosecutor said Gille is entitled to bond, but it could have been set higher than $100,000.

Gille allegedly attacked 11 people in the store on Saturday afternoon, sending all of them to the hospital.

As of Wednesday morning, Munson Medical released the following information about those patients:

• 1 patient in fair condition
• 5 patients in good condition
• 2 patients treated and transferred
• 3 patients treated and released
