DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Detroit linebacker Alex Anzalone has been disappointed in the Lions’ negotiations for a new contract. ESPN sources say that Detroit is working on a better deal for Anzalone this season.
The deal would add $250,000 to his base salary, moving his total amount to $6.25 million, which is guaranteed. Incentives to help increase his potential earnings for the year will also be added.
