FLINT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) — A parking lot discovery turned into a high-stakes call on August 23 after Michigan State Police (MSP) found a live grenade inside a car outside their Flint post.
The bomb squad moved in quickly, confirming the device was active before removing and disposing of it safely, WOODTV.com reported.

Troopers later used the close call as a teachable moment: if you stumble on something that looks like an explosive, “please call 911,” MSP posted on social media. “Do not touch or move the item. We will gladly send a bomb squad expert to assess and remove it safely.”
