WASHINGTON, D.C. (Michigan News Source) – President Donald Trump removed Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook on Monday night after allegations surfaced that she committed mortgage fraud.
Cook, who refused to resign after the reports surfaced last week, claimed homes in Michigan and Georgia as her primary residences.

William Pulte, Director of U.S. Federal Housing, brought the mortgage fraud allegations to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi last week. He thanked President Trump on X, also adding that mortgage fraud can carry a 30 year prison sentence.
