DEARBORN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud says his city represents “the best of America” and isn’t apologizing after telling a resident he wasn’t welcome in the city.
Hammoud made the initial remarks on Sept. 9 to resident Ted Barham. During the city council meeting, Barham pushed back against a decision by Wayne County to ceremonially name Warren Avenue at Chase Road after longtime Arab-American leader Osama Siblani. The 70-year-old leader has ties to terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah.

In addition, Hammoud is releasing videos with English and Arabic subtitles.
