DETRIOT (Michigan News Source) – Michigan native, comedian, and actor Tim Allen is following the lead of Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika.
In a social media post this week, Allen pointed to Erika Kirk’s forgiveness of her husband’s murderer. While giving the eulogy at her husband’s memorial service on Sunday, Sept. 21, Erika Kirk publicly forgave the 22-year-old shooter accused of murdering her husband at a Utah Valley University event on Sept. 10. Allen said her example caused him to extend forgiveness for the person he says killed his father.

Allen wrote that Erika’s words, “That young man…I forgive him” impacted him.

Allen’s father, Gerald Dick, died in a car crash in 1964 after being hit by a drunk driver.
Allen has been a mainstay in the entertainment industry with shows like Last Man Standing, Shifting Gears, and Home Improvement, which was set in Michigan.
